About the Author
Sam’n Iqbal was introduced to the “ABCs of Islam” early in life–both at home and within her masjid, the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. Now a two-time graduate of New York University, she holds a Masters in Bicultural School Counseling and has plans to develop an interfaith counseling program for Sunday schools and Islamic schools. She is currently a member of the ADAMS Center masjid in Northern Virginia and resides with her husband and three children in the Washington, D.C. area.
About the Illustrator
Lina Safar is an award-winning illustrator who grew up in the Ukraine, but now splits her time between Syria and the United States. She studied at the University of Damascus School of Fine Arts and has illustrated over 15 books. View more of Lina’s artwork at www.linasafar.com.
